Our Activity

APVSA Association for the Promotion of Wines and Spirits) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping winemakers expand their exports to North America. Sine 1999, we have been supporting producers looking to grow their presence in the United-States, Canada, Mexico and more recently, the Caribbean. Pascal Fernand, our President, travels wine-producing countries around the world to taste and select wines and spirits with the greastest potential for success in North American markets.  Throughout the year, we organize meetings between North American buyers and European winemakers. These meetings take place either at the wineries themselves or on-site in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. At these events, producers and buyers forge long-lasting business relationships. Importers, distributors, and agents trust APVSA because we know the market and only present wines and spirits that we have carefully selected to meet their needs and expectations. Since our inception, we have helped over 400 winemakers establish themselves in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean. At the same time, we have trained more than 250 students from leading business schools to promote wine and understand the North American market.
At APVSA, we specialize in connecting winemakers with importers and distributors through our events and meetings with key buyers. These events provide a unique opportunity to showcase your wines directly to medium and large-sized importers and distributors, offering maximum exposure and growth potential. Prior to each event, we personally reach out to buyers to gauge their interest, facilitating exchanges between winemakers and potential buyers even before the event takes place. For winemakers who are unable to attend, our brand ambassadors are available to represent them, ensuring that your wines are always presented in the best possible light.

In Canada, we have a deep understanding of the market, including key segments such as "specialties," "vintages," "regular," and "private imports." Our expertise allows us to tailor our approach, ensuring your wines find their place and thrive in this diverse market.

We operate in over 40 cities across Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean, providing unparalleled access to a wide range of markets and offering extended reach and growth opportunities.
Our comprehensive marketing support spans traditional media channels such as social networks, television, radio, and newspapers, ensuring your wines gain the visibility they deserve.

Additionally, our dedicated sales force and brand ambassadors across the continent are committed to representing your wines with professionalism, ensuring they stand out in a competitive market.

We also facilitate participation in prestigious wine competitions such as Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Wine Spectator, helping to enhance the reputation and credibility of your wines within the industry.

To date, we have introduced over 400 winemakers to the North American market, and we are confident in our ability to help you succeed and thrive in this competitive landscape.
